Head-to-head statistics: 20 games 6 wins Botafogo and 3 draws and 11 wins Internacional.

Away form is 2 wins, 1 draws and 4 losses. Recent form of 3 win, 2 draws and 3 losses.

Team news: Home side have some players back from Copa America – Vina, Varela, de la Cruz and de Arrascaeta but its not certain any of them may play. Criciuma miss Allano who is their top scorer.

Head-to-head statistics: 4 games 3 win Flamengo and 1 draw.

Betting selection – Flamengo will play in Brasilia for this one so not a home game as such. Criciuma without Allano is a blow. Criciuma have had 7 of last 8 both score while Flamengo 6 of the last 7 yes – We take Both score Yes at 2.00 or Evens Ladbrokes.

Head-to-head statistics: 19 game 1 win Sirius, 2 draws and13 losses.

Betting selection – Malmo have one eye on Klaksvik in UCL qualifier. They lost last time out to Mjallby who we tipped. We take more Malmo misery as we believe they will not be 100% here and could also rest players with Tuesday game in mind.  Take Sirius +1.0 at 1.93 Bet365.

Norway Eliteserien on Friday night at Aspmyra Stadion.

The home side are top of the division with 33 points from 15 games this season. Overall form is 10 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. Home form is still unbeaten with 4 wins and 3 draws. Recent form is 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Odd are 15th with 14 points from 15 games. Overall form is 3 wins, 5 draws and 7 losses. Away form is 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses. Recent form of 1 win, 3 draws and 4 losses.

Team news: Home side have doubt over Brede Moe who came off last match and miss Hogh and Sorli here. Odd miss Borven, Mugeese and Hien.

Head-to-head statistics: 19 game 8 win Bodo/Glimt, 3 draws and 9 losses.

Betting selection – Key point here is Bodo/Glimt have a UCL qualifying game on Tuesday against RFS of Latvia. A winnable tie so they should have eyes on that. Bodo/Glimt also lost last time out to Sandefjord who are below Odd! Bodo/Glimt very short here and I think UCL is a factor. Take Odd +2.25 at 1.85 or 17-20 Bet365.

Corvinul Hunedoara v Paksi – Thursday 20.00 CET

Europa League qualifying round gave us an amazing result as newcomers Corvinul put 4 past Paski in Hungary. The just need to avoid a hammering to qualify.

The home side remarkably won the Cupa Romaniei despite being in 2nd division. They last played in Europe in 1983 and that was their only other campaign. They have 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. UEFA  rank them as 320 due no games in last 5 years *they are helped by Romania country rank. Paski are rated 300 with same idea as home side. No games since 2012 in Europe. They finished season in 2nd behind Ferencvaros. History Euro record is 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 loss.

Team news: Home side have doubt over midfielder Denis Hrezdac. Visitors lose skipper and forward Balint Szabo who was red carded in 1st leg.

Head-to-head statistics: 1 game 1 win Corvinul.

Betting selection – Result of the round for sure and too much for Paksi to do for sure. We should see goals here and over 2.5 at 1.72 or 8-11 Betfair.

Zira IK v Sheriff – Thursday 18.00 CET

Posted on

Europa League qualifying round and a 2nd leg tie in Azerbaijan.  First leg was 0-1 in Moldova to surprise winners Zira.

Zira finished 2nd in Azerbaijan league to make only their 4th match in Europe since their inception in 2014. They are ranked at 309 by UEFA with 1.5 points. Overall european history is 7 games, 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Sheriff ended season in 2nd place behind Petrocub. They are highly ranked in UEFA thanks to great performances last few years, first Moldovan side to play in KO stages in Europe. Overall they have a ranking of 77 with 18 points. History shows 167 games with 50 wins, 46 draws and 72 loss.

Team news: No injury or suspensions for either team.

Head-to-head statistics: 1 game 1 win Zira.

Betting selection – Amazing first leg win for Zira but Sheriff will need a win only here. I take Sheriff to win at 6-5 or 2.20 10bet.

CS Petrocub v FC Ordabasy – Wednesday 19.00 CET

Posted on

Champions League qualifying round and a 2nd leg tie in Moldova.  First leg was 0-0 in Kazakhstan.

Petrocub surprisingly won the Moldovan championship beating Sheriff by 6 points for their 1st ever Championship. They have been in Europe before though and have 3 wins, 5 draws and 10 losses from their 18 games. They are ranked at 191 with 6 points from UEFA. Ordabasy won last year’s Kazakh title by 5 points over Astana and this year are already 12 games into the league and again they are top with just 1 defeat in 12 games.  European performances for them show 5 wins, 10 draws and 9 losses although this is their 1st UCL season. Ordabasy are down in 345 place in UEFA with 2.5 points.

Team news: No injury or suspensions for either team.

Head-to-head statistics: 1 game 1 draw.

Betting selection – First match was tentative, and I expect this to be similar. Ordabasy have half a season in their legs while Petrocub have yet to play a competitive match. Take Ordabasy draw no bet at 2.0 or Evens betfair.

FK Struga Trim-Lum v Slovan Bratislava – Wednesday 17.00 CET

Champions League qualifying round and a 2nd leg tie in Macedonia.  First leg was 4-2 to Slovan in Bratislava.

Struga won the Macedonian league on a head-to-head record to Shkendija. They have only played 1 competitive match since mid-May and that was 1st leg.  They are rated at 291 by UEFA with just 3.5 points co-efficient. Slovan won the Slovakia championship by miles. Ending up 15 points ahead of 2nd place. They too have only one match since May. They are ranked way ahead though at 59 by UEFA – alongside such teams as Young Boys and Galatasaray.

Team news: No injury or suspensions for either team.

Head-to-head statistics: 1 game 1-win Slovan Bratislava.

Betting selection – Back and forward the 1st match in Slovakia but I feel that Slovan will have too much for the home side especially since they have no option to attack with a 2-goal deficit. Take Slovan Bratislava at 1.91 or 10-11 Betfair.

Pyunik v Dinamo Minsk – Tuesday 18.00 CET

Posted on

Champions League qualifying round and a 2nd leg tie in Yerevan, Armenia. First leg was 0-0 in Belarus.

Pyunik took the Armenian title by 2 points from Noah in May. UEFA rank them at 187 with 6 points, mainly due to their lack of Euro football 20-21 to 21-22. Minsk are in 293rd with 3.5 points. They won their 1st Belarus title in 20 years with last seasons victory. Minsk are 15 games unbeaten at the start of the new season and will be in much fitter state due to constant football instead of a gap like Pyunik. Ten wins and five draws so far.

Team news: Home side miss striker Luka Juricic while Minsk have no issues.

Head-to-head statistics: 1 games 1 Draw.

Betting selection – The 1st leg was held in Hungary due to Belarus “home” ban due to Russia allegiances. Expect a full house it Republican Stadium. Dinamo Minsk will be far fitter than the home side due to their season running into the summer. Take Dinamo Minsk draw no bet at 19-20 or 1.95 Betfair.

Lincoln Red Imps v Hamrun Spartans – Tuesday 18.00 CET

UCL qualifying and a 2nd leg tie between Gibraltar and Malta.

Lincoln are Gibraltar league winners but have only played one game since May (the 1st leg) They are ranked 155 in Europe with 7.5 ranking points from UEFA. Hamrun are Malta champions, taking the league back to back for the 1st time in nearly 40 years.  They too have just one game since May. Hamrun are ranked at 257 by UEFA with 4.5 points.

Team news: Home side miss striker Gomez suspended. Hamrun miss

Head-to-head statistics: 1 games 1 Lincoln RI

Betting selection – Hamrun had a red card on 10 mins so were 10 v 11 for 35 mins (Lincoln then had a red card too) – I take Hamrun 2.40 or 7-5 Betfair.
