Leeds v Arsenal – Elland Road 16:00 CET

Team News:

Leeds are without key defender Jaka Bijol but will likely swap in Sebastian Bornauw which is just a slight drop in quality. Utility man Gabriel Gudmondsson and winger Dan James are back in contention after long injuries.

Arsenal is expected to have an almost entire roster available for this one. Young prodigy Max Dowman is the only missing man.

Formations:

3-5-2 switch was key to the improvement of Leeds, and they are much more dangerous now. Three big centre backs and two wide wing backs who are more offensively minded. Has transformed Brenden Aaronson also and his link play is key for Leeds.

4-3-3 for vast majority of games for Arsenal. They have come unstuck in the last few matches and despite an almost entire squad available Arsenal have stumbled through the last few EPL matches.

Statistics:

Referee: Stuart Atwell (Average cards 3.47 Yellow 0.14 Red per game)

Match Preview:

Leeds have had a tough run of games lately but have still looked solid with just 1 defeat in 11 matches. Arsenal are on a three-match winless streak in EPL and the choke accusations have returned. The defence that looked rock solid is now creaking a bit and the aura is dented somewhat. Three points is all that matters here and they should have their 1st choice eleven in for this one.

Betting Preview:

24 points separate the teams at Elland Road. Leeds are still not safe from the drop after West Ham and Forest have both rallied in recent weeks.  Arsenal should have too much for Leeds here but it won’t be plain sailing.   Both to score is an option while Both to score and Arsenal win at high odds is appealing.
