Match Time Completed 28/01/2026
Match on:

Kairat Almaty will look to damage limitation as they arrive in London for the final group stage game. Arsenal will top the table unless a miracle happens here.

UEFA Champions League – Emirates Stadium Wednesday 21:00 CET

Team News:

Arsenal will miss key midfield men Declan Rice and Mikel Merino through suspension. Two players nearing full fitness are defender Riccardo Calafiori and attacker Kai Havertz but this game may be too soon. They should rotate here as top spot is almost guaranteed.

Kairat Almaty have just one injury worry but its to their top man. Striker Dastan Satpaev  is on his way to Chelsea in summer but is rated a doubt here.

Formations:

4-3-3 has been deployed in majority of Arsenal’s games. Expect Arsenal to dominate possession and they are deadly from set pieces. Solid at the back so don’t expect Almaty to get many chances.

Kairat are 4-2-3-1 in every game, they will crowd the back line though so we can expect a very dense low block and some desperate defending. They are miles behind the home side in quality whatever side Arsenal put out so survival mode will be in effect.

Statistics:

Referee: Urs Schnyder (Average cards 4.19 Yellow 0.19 Red per game)

Match Preview:

You don’t see many UCL matches where the odds are as low as this. It’s lucky for the visitors that qualification is over as Arsenal will rotate here for sure.  Arsenal will like to take the win still and make it eight from eight in the group stage. Kairat will defend for their lives but its an impossible task for them to get anything at Emirates Stadium.

Betting Preview:

Kazakhstan league ended in October so just friendlies played for them since the last UCL match. Hardly the preparation to take on one of the best sides on the planet. Expect Arteta to rotate a little but this will still be an international packed team. Easy win for Arsenal to nil and likely to be a few goals for them also.
