Can Man Utd make it three successive wins for the 1st time in 2 years? Old Trafford should be bouncing but Fulham are often party poopers.
Man Utd v Fulham – Old Trafford 15:00 CET
Team News:
Man Utd are without right midfielder Patrick Dorgu which is a loss as he has hit good form. CB Matthijs de Ligt is out also and although he has played well this season they have like for like replacement. Only other issue is FW Joshua Zirkzee, could be back but is not match fit.
Fulham have midfielder Sasa Lukic and forward Rodrigo Muniz out here with Lukic a solid performer and but key starter RB/RM Kenny Tate is available after injury lay off.
Formations:
4-2-3-1 for United under Carrick which has saw both Man City and Arsenal deservedly beaten. Will be a different problem to solve today though as they will be expected to set the tempo rather than the counter attacking style in the last two weeks.
4-2-3-1 for Fulham who are a typical Marco Silva side. Neat intricate play with emphasis on width. They have creativity and are dangerous from set pieces. Have found a diamond in Harry Wilson who has been their standout attacker this season.
Statistics:
Referee: John Brooks (Average cards 3.96 Yellow 0.13 Red per game)
Match Preview:
Man Utd fans are in dreamland, back-to-back wins against the top two and complete performances in both. Michael Carrick is doing his permanent employment chances no harm so far. Man Utd are in 4th place and will look to cement a place in the Champions League positions. Fulham are playing very well themselves and are just 4 points behind the home side. On a good run of form with just one loss in last eight games.
Betting Preview:
Man Utd are in good form but odds are on the short side here. Considering there is just 4 points separating the sides. The home side will be forced to set the pace here. Both teams score yes looks a good option. For a bigger return Man Utd to win and both teams to score.
