Spain La Liga – Spotify Camp Nou Sunday 16.15 CET
Team News:
Barcelona added key man Pedri to their injury list, joining attacker Ferran Torres, midfield buddy Gavi and backup defender Andres Christensen on the sidelines.
Real Oviedo have nobody confirmed out but have small doubts over CB Eric Bailly and back up midfielder Ovie Ejaria.
Formations:
4-2-3-1 for Barcelona in La Liga mainly but a few switches to 4-3-3. Will dominate possession and will likely swamp Oviedo here.
4-2-3-1 recently but some tinkering in game as they attract a lot of red cards with their tenacity. Real Oviedo are on their 3rd manager of the season with Guillermo Almada at the reigns now.

Match Preview:
Top v Bottom at Spotify Camp Nou as Barcelona host Oviedo. A massive 36 points separate the teams and Barcelona’s 100% home record should be in no danger here. Pedri is a huge loss of course, but Eric Garcia will be more than good enough replacement. Marcus Rashford is ready if Hansi Flick needs to rotate up front. Oviedo have struggled in their 1st La Liga season since 2001 and will need a miracle to avoid relegation. Indeed, they will need a miracle to get anything from this match. Their top scorer has three and they have only managed 11 in 20 matches. Even worse they have recorded 8 red cards which shows their lack of discipline.
Betting Preview:
Barcelona have only one real negative going into this game and that’s the upcoming UCL match at home to FC Copenhagen on Wednesday. They will need a win to get them into the top 8 and avoid the playoffs. Hansi Flick will have one eye on that, but whatever side he puts out on Sunday should have enough to beat a poor Oviedo side. Easy home win and handicaps -1 or -2 are obvious selections.
