Man City are in their usual laser focus mode after New Year. Wins are all that matters and they seem to step up a few gears in the Championship run-in. Nottingham Forest are desperate for points to avoid relegation. Can they grab anything in this one?

Kovacic and Gvardiol remain out for City who have slight issues with Haaland and O’Reilly. Both are rated as likely to play still but doubts remain.
Wood, Savona, Boly, Victor and Ortega miss out here. Ortega’s loss is not felt though as 1st choice keeper Selz has recovered at the perfect time from his injury.
Formations:
4-1-3-2 for Man City lately as Guardiola has tinkered a bit. He uses Rodri as a shield and allows the attacking five licence to roam.
4-2-3-1 for Forest under Pereira. With four managers in the season their has been turmoil for the players as they are constantly resetting to deal with the managerial changes.

City are 2nd and are five points behind leaders Arsenal. Home form for them is the best in the league with eleven wins from fourteen matches. Recent form is impressive with an unbeaten run of nine matches, winning the last six consecutive games.
Forest are in 17th place and are just two points above the drop zone. Away form reads four wins from fourteen games. Recent all competition form is poor with one win and four losses from last seven games. They have lost their three consecutive matches.
Betting Preview:
City are at the business end of the season and remain in the hunt for all four trophies. They will have too much for a Forest side who although a capable side seem to have been bogged down by Europe and the managerial upheavals. Take Man City to win the match.
