Match on:

Forest destroyed Fenerbahçe in Istanbul in a completely one-sided 1st leg. They have the quarter finals within their grasp. Can the Turks regain some pride?

Nottingham Forest v Fenerbahce City Ground 21:00 CET

Team News:

No new issues for Forest who have Wood, Savona, Boly and Selz still out. Some rotation could be in order here. Especially since Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson and Ryan Yates are all one yellow card away from suspension. Between them they have played nearly 70 EPL matches for Forest this season. It would be no surprise if Pereira leave them out so they are rested for the weekend.

Injury crisis for Fenerbahce who will miss Oosterwalde ,Skriniar, Soyuncu, Talisca, Ederson, Fred and Alvarez.

Formations:

4-2-3-1 for Forest who have started to find their feet in Europe. With a three-goal lead and them struggling in Premier League there may be some rotation.

4-3-3 for Fenerbahce but with a huge missing list and the tie essentially over they could rotate heavily.

Statistics:

Referee: Maurizio Mariani (ITA) (Average cards 4.68 Yellow 0.17 Red)

Match Preview:

Forest ended the group in 13th with 4 wins from 8 games. At home they won 3 and lost 1 of their 4 games. In EPL they are caught in a relegation fight and sit in 17th just 2 points above the drop zone. Recent form is mixed with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. A small sidenote: Vitor Pereira has had a spell as coach for Fenerbache. It is unlikely to mean extraordinarily much for the outcome of this game – but it means Pereira has better than average understanding of Turkish club football I dare say.

Fenerbahce finished the group in 19th with 3 wins from 8 games. Away from wasn’t great with 1 win from 4 matches. Recent all competitions form is good though with 4 wins and 1 draw, the only blip the 1st leg loss to Forest.

Betting Preview:

Fenerbahce were ran into the ground in the 1st leg and were lucky to only lose by 3. With a massive missing list of players they have no chance of getting close to qualifying. The only positive for them is that Forest are in a relegation dogfight and will have one eye to Brighton at the weekend. A Nottingham Forest win here even if they do rotate.
